Privacy

The short version: I collect what I need to paint for you, and nothing else.

What I collect

When you send a commission request, I receive your name, email, any phone number you add, the details of what you'd like painted, and the reference photos you upload. If you email me instead, I have whatever is in your email.

What I do with it

I use it to reply to you, quote your painting and paint it. I don't sell it, rent it or share it with anyone for marketing. I don't send newsletters unless you ask me to.

Payments

Payments are handled by Square, and card details are entered on Square's own pages. No card information is ever collected on this website — there is no card field here to type one into. Square keeps its own records under its own privacy policy.

Your photos

Reference photos are stored privately and are visible only to me. They're used for your painting and nothing else, and I delete them once your commission is complete. If you'd like them deleted sooner, ask and I'll do it.

Sharing finished work

I may post photos of finished paintings on Instagram and on this site. If your piece is a gift or a surprise, tell me and I'll keep it private — before the occasion or permanently, your choice.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Parents commission paintings of their kids all the time — that's information the parent gives me, which is fine.

Asking me to delete your information

Email me and I'll delete your request, your photos and your details. I keep basic records of completed sales, because taxes require it.
